Hier noch ein #Denkmal in #Sarajevo zur Erinnerung an das Massaker von #Srebrenica. Es zeigt einen Vater (Ramo), der seinem Sohn (Nermin) zuruft, dass er aus dem Wald kommen soll, weil ihm die Serben nichts tun würden. Man hat dann beide später in einem Massengrab gefunden. // A heart-breaking #memorial in Sarajevo for the Srebrenica massacre. W Bośni i Hercegowinie, w małym miasteczku Srebrenica, w lipcu 1995 r. miała miejsce największa zbrodnia w Europie po II wojnie światowej: serbskie oddziały zamordowały tam ponad 8 tys. muzułmańskich chłopców i mężczyzn.
Srebrenica była kumulacją czystek etnicznych. Po śmierci mężów, braci i ojców kobiety zostały same. Szacuje się, że ponad 40 tysięcy kobiet zostało zgwałconych, a dzieci które z nich się narodziły żyją z piętnem.
