If fascists show up to school board and city council meetings under the pretext of protesting mask mandates, anti-fascists need to talk to the following groups: rank & file teachers, educational/teachers' unions, parents, and students. Neighbors who are affected — hearing them and getting to know them. Building relationships. Speak to these people, so they know who we are and what we stand for. Talk about anti-fascist politics. Don't just gear up for a confrontation. https://itsgoingdown.org/paul-obanion-on-the-changing-terrain-of-the-far-right-antifascism-and-community-self-defense/
