Smell worked, sort of. Only once the weather turned warm enough and the expired petrol smell is not nearly as obvious as fresh petrol. Not the best method.

Burn test was surprisingly useless, all samples burnt about the same with similar amounts of soot. Old petrol is only very slightly easier to ignite.

Evaporate if you have time or unit weight if not.

It will not take long for the answer. "You smell like diesel" in this case. Problem solved

Eine schwer planbare Nachfrage, lange hinausgezögerte Investitionen, billige #Dieselimporte und stetig steigende #Klimaschutzkosten machen den deutschen #Raffinerien das Leben schwer. Längst ist nicht mehr auszuschließen, dass einzelne Standorte ganz dichtmachen.

Sollten mehrere Raffinerien in Deutschland schließen, hätte das Auswirkungen auf die Versorgung mit #Diesel, #Benzin, #Kerosin, #Heizöl und wichtigen Produkten der Grundstoffchemie.

@giggls @ulrichkelber Deren Volumen- und Gewichtseffizienz ist signifikant schlechter als #LiFePO4 und daher eignen die sich nur für großvolumige #USV|s.

Besonders wenns ums verdrängen von #Diesel geht dürfte #Methanol-#Brennstoffzelle erfolgreich sein, weil damit keine Handling-Unterschiede sind und bei #LKW, #Bus|en und #Netzersatzanlage|n die schnelle Nachtankbarkeit sowie hohe #Eenergiedichte siegt, damit also #Verbrenner-Ende vereinfacht!

Ich glaube eher dass #Methanol-#Brennstoffzelle langfristig die Lösung wird weil effizienter Elektroantrieb ohne tonnenweise #Konfliktmineralien aus #UnfairTrade und #Raubbau in Form von Akkus!
