@douginamug Could you elaborate more? Like in the sense of "courage isn't just toxic masculinity" ?
@scrappy_capy_distro I guess there are some "good" attributes which are associated with masculinity and hierarchy, and are often reactively thrown out "with the bathwater" by groups who ideologically work against patriarchy and other domination.
I'm thinking of something that recontextualizes and celebrates e.g. specialization, initiative-taking, etc, arguing why these things are useful towards total liberation, empowering in themselves, and outlining their failure modes
@douginamug I can't think of anything like that as something like praise of courage would likely be in the general case and not trying to cleave it away from an essentialized masculine version if itself. I'm not sure I can help you
