Home from the field to a beer cold from the fridge with a very large whisky chaser.
KLAXON: the broad beans are showing, they're up, just gotta hope they stay up and don't get slugged this season. And the first spuds, some are just up too.
Also #WashdayWednesday, is that a thing already (and if not oughtn't it be)?

#ProTip: if you toot successive sentences beginning "Potting up…" and "High time…" you might just gain some unexpected followers!
But anyway, time with a second extremely large whisky in hand, to sink like hot knives through butter into a piping hot bath!
And BTW, rest in power Martin Slavin, amongst other talents a gardener who knew his weeds.
Potheads look away now, thankyou.
"We will be 'weeding' the new pollinator gardens near the pavilion." they said.
"But actually, a 'weed' is really just a flower in the wrong place, isn't it?" we replied.
Home from the marshes. I've got my whisky for the weekend and I'm going back to bed

Wakes up from post-renaturing siesta before 11pm.
Came home with a clump of yarrow liberated by our 'weeding' at the base of the bee mound. It''s destined for a small patch of semi-arid substrate recently created in between some of the pre-cast concrete sections scattered at the back of the #allotment.

So that clump of yarrow in its new home will hopefully perk back up after being trapped in a bag overnight, and there's a wet scrape in the making. Whether beneath the gooseberry is the best place for the scrape is perhaps debatable though?
Also been making progress on the new front gate (not shown).
