More than 30 ideas for 30 Days Wild activities.
Hear: bees buzzing; birdsong or a dawn chorus; or breezes in the trees; or flowing water; or go on a sound hunt.
Touch: feel the air on your skin; blow a dandelion; go barefoot; or hug a tree; or feel three types of leaves and name the textures; or find three different rock textures; and maybe do a nature rubbing.
See: clouds, or sunset or sunrise; or choose a colour and seek it in nature; or watch a wild webcam.
Taste: drink a cup of tea or eat breakfast or a picnic outside; or try a wild ingredient (but only if you're 100% sure of the species, know no pesticides were used nearby, and are foraging responsibly and sustainably).
Smell: three different types of herbs or flowers.
Make: a mud painting; or a nature rubbing; or record a soundscape (doesn't have to be audio, you can write a poem or draw a picture or map).
Learn: identify a wildflower, or tree, or minibeast, or bird; learn three facts about your favourite wild thing; read a nature book or poem.
"Exercise": follow a nature trail, or try puddle jumping, or go litter picking.
Day 30: Reflect on your 30 wild days.
