@hakan_geijer Common recommendation is OrganicMaps.
Disclaimer: I actually love all the small knobs and wheels OsmAnd provides and use them, but do understand that the UX is not very coherent and can be much better if you don't need all that.
@schmittlauch the tiles load so slow that I feel like I'm back on an early 90s modem. And they're already downloaded locally. Zoom in or out? Hooray, an unstyled grid for literally 25 seconds!

The only one I’ve found usable is Magic Earth. Can’t quite match the spyware apps on rerouting due to traffic but otherwise I find it to be a nearly 1-to-1 replacement
