Humans are kinda funny. They are smart enough to research all sorts of science and develop new technologies based on their findings, but whenever it comes to their own societal structures, they basically stick to the old principles that have been in use for thousands of years.

You don't suppose that's because it was antifa protecting drag queens from being lynched by bigots while the police stood by to let it happen, do you?
