The timeframe for Chump declaring martial law may have just moved up:
With Federal judges blocking Trump's Alien Enemy Acts deportations, he is deporting people anyway, for now openly defying the courts. There are fears he may legalize this and take the judges off the table by declaring martial law.
The video attached to this post is a warning that it's coming and a prediction that the US military will split. Some are expected to fight for Trump but some for the people. This is what I have expected all the way back to the 2020 Uprising.

Otherwise we have one of the same things that is blocking a two-state solution in Palestine: intermixed populations. This is no longer North, South, and West but urban vs rural with a lot of intermixed minority populations. In a civil war that can lead to a lot of what Fascists and "ethnic cleansers" call "knife and ax work" as the dominant populations slaughter locally minority populations. The Balkan War comes to mind here.
The main blocker in Palestine of course is that whose who stole the land should not rule or dominate ANY of it. Same here for that matter: every inch of Turtle Island is as much stolen land as Tel Aviv is. Native folks have been talking about this lately, don't take my word for it.

@GeraintLlanfrancheta Against a Hitler we go to war, win or lose. I'd rather fight a war, lose, and die on the battlefield than die in a concentration camp any day.
Same decision the fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising made. They knew the Nazis intended to kill them all, so they fought to the death without regard for any possibiity of victory. They tied down two whole divisions of Waffen SS for weeks. This humiliated Hitler and the entire Nazi establishment, who never thought starving Jews would be a per-soldier overmatch for them on the battlefield.
Note that "Man in the High Castle" posits an active resistance inside a US spilt between the Nazis and imperial Japan after losing WWII. In other words, nobody HAS to surrender.

@GeraintLlanfrancheta Trusting a Fascist government with a monopoly of guns would be suicidal. I've chewed out gun control supporters for years on this question. Unfortunately, this is NOT a case where you want the last laugh.
@LukefromDC in earnest: I really hope some govs and former us presidents very secretly working on something like a Plan B similar to national divorce. Let's hope they have it ready when it's needed and take action.
