as more information surfaces about Luigis mishmash of shitty anticiv traditionalist beliefs, its worth considering the power of symbols and how they clash with messy reality. He was obviously a dude with a half baked worldview, who nevertheless saw some truth and courageously acted upon it, risking everything. I think its probably worth trying to capture the good parts of that as our own, rather than distancing ourselves from the whole mess, but hey, I could be wrong. worth thinking about IMO
