So I set this up, then I went back to Twitter. Then I used Twitter slightly less as it became pretty depressing to see it all fall apart. But anyway, I'm going to make a real effort to use Mastodon more.

I think part of what is hard about leaving Twitter is that the Algorithm™️ is designed to be addictive. Which is also what makes it so terribly toxic. I'm realizing that while I "knew" that about Twitter, the reality of separating myself from the dopamine reward Twitter can sometimes create is going to take some actual work.
