The waxing quarter moon was high in the clear blue sky at sunset, so I snapped a few shots with a Canon M50 mark ii attached to a 90mm f/14 Maksutov. Here's the best frame;

Without contrast stretching:

A waxing quarter moon, in a darkening blue sky at sunset. The vignette of the optics makes a dark blue halo around the moon. Many hundreds of craters are illuminated obliquely in stark relief along the terminator line.

Nice. Especially the capture of the lunar X. I've known about the feature that becomes apparent when the sun angle is just right, but I've not observed it.
