@theceoofanarchism He is one of those figures that is essentially above criticism though. It would be like speaking ill of one of the founding figures in the US. It does not invite calm discussion of history. It invites a cry of "Why do you hate your country!?"
Churchill has been eclipsed by his own myth. Maybe if he had stayed in power a little longer he would not be so fondly admired.
