Alice Anhel<p>So, a few days ago, the trans organization I&#39;m involved with posted on instagram about our wanting to leave meta and moving to fediverse, and encouraging everyone in the queer community, but also activists and antifascists to join us there.</p><p>3 days later:<br />- 0 new followers on mastodon<br />- 15 new followers on instagram</p><p>I&#39;m so pissed and confused right now.</p>
Alice Anhel<p>Another great page for French journalism...</p><p>The conservative-reactionnary newspaper Le Figaro shamelessly titled an article &quot;Sweden, a country in the hands of violent immigrant gangs&quot; to cover the Örebro shooting, even though it&#39;s been established that the perpetrator had no link with gangs or organised crime.<br />The author even acknowledges himself that &quot;the [perpetrator&#39;s] motivations are currently unknown,&quot; but he still took the chance to make a link between the shooting, gangs, and immigration.<br />Journalistic integrity at its finest...</p><p>And vultures with no shame and respect.</p>

This despite the fact that, according to the Labor Court, there are no labor law obstacles to the Port Workers&#39; Union&#39;s blockade being carried out in accordance with the notice.</p><p>The purpose of setting a deterrent example with Erik Helgeson is twofold.<br />In part, they want to criminalize international solidarity in the port in practice. Taking a public stance against the genocide that Israel commits against the Palestinians in Gaza counts as a violation of the Security Protection Act and disloyalty linked to the Security Protection Act.<br />On the one hand, the employer wants to use the nationalist right-wing and the militarization of society to get rid of a combative union leader. Cloudy reasons such as &quot;national security&quot; short-circuit the right to work and make all trade union representatives/protection representatives who work on &quot;protected objects&quot; lawless.</p>
