Sure, their lawyers argued they were scapegoats for Trump and one cried in court during sentencing, but that was just for show, to fool the court. They still believe in Trump, even tho he doesn't give a shit about them and could have pardoned them before leaving office.

700 years Trump's followers will serve in total, or close to it. I still can't see ever being sentenced to serious time, like years. If history is any guide, he'll get a plea deal like and disappear into the night. Maybe he'll abscond to the UAE before it comes to that.
