I recently read an interview from 1994 with the late “Final Solution” expert Raul Hilberg. Asked about neo-Nazis in Germany at the time, he was pretty sanguine. Russia? Not so much. With respect to authoritarian ideologies, he said “it seems to have space for ‘innovation.’” Uh… yeah.
