Im Dezember 2024 hat die Staatsanwaltschaft das Verfahren gegen die Polizisten, die Nzoy getötet haben, eingestellt. Die tödliche rassistische Gewalt der Beamten wird auf diese Weise legitimiert. Die Wut über den Mord an Nzoy und über das Verfahren gegen die beteiligten Polizisten hat sich in den letzten Jahren in einer breiten Widerstandsbewegung niedergeschlagen.
