I told a coworker about #monsterdon and she said "It sounds too intellectual for me". So, obviously I did a bad job with it.

Well, at least we're watching KRULL this week! It's one of my favorite terrible 80s sword-and-sorcery flicks.

OH: "It's a *really* good transfer. You can see the hairs on the spider-monster!"
If anyone in #monsterdon would like to give The Ice Pirates from 1984 a shot on the voting list, it's available for free streaming from Plex.

Hey #Monsterdon! Getting prepped for Krull this Sunday? Check it: You can play the 1983 video game on the Internet Archive. It's a rare case of dual joystick controls. Think Robotron 2084 or Smash TV.
somebody went and did it, some fool actually went and did it. has #Monsterdon seen this?
(wrote a novel based on Laserblast, in case you're not into clicking random links)
Theme Drink Recommendation for
KRULL
Was enjoying Planet Krull - which has not been overwhelmed by tourism like so many other places - when I learned The Beast and his army of Slayers was arriving soon.
This was not mentioned in Fodor's. I'll just attend the royal wedding, have a strong refresher and leave.
(details in reply under CW)

Likely too short for #monsterdon but this is where it all started. Shot in three days by J. Searle Dawley, and even here, at the very start, they couldn't get the gist of the book right! You will recognize many of the tropes, however.
