Taco Blacc<p>Re: guns in the US and right-wing hypocrisy turns about them, I wish more people would understand what the function of firearms actually is in the dominant American ethos and particularly who gets written out of it &amp; why.</p><p>The connecting principle between conservative fetishism of guns and how easily they gripe when marginalized people have them is that to them human rights are only for a certain category of humans. That used to be literal in terms of the law, which goes unspoken as the key backdrop to the romantic notion of the Frontiersman they still like to nod at.
