Questa è una specie che ha sviluppato sorprendenti abilità di volo grazie a strane ali colorate. In questa spettacolare migrazione quotidiana, i Kitesurficus sfidano le leggi della gravità, librandosi sopra le onde con eleganza e una spensieratezza che solo chi ha dimenticato la forza di gravità può permettersi. Si noti il loro comportamento sociale: urlano di gioia, sventolano le braccia e, occasionalmente, atterrano con grazia discutibile. Anche se non sono noti per migrare, questi esemplari sono stati avvistati in luoghi lontani e diversi, dimostrando la loro capacità di adattarsi a vari habitat marini.
