Monika<p>13yo wants to watch an "actually scary" <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/HorrorMovie" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>HorrorMovie</span></a> for <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Halloween" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Halloween</span></a>. Last year we watched <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Aliens" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Aliens</span></a> and <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/ScaryStoriesToTellInTheDark" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ScaryStoriesToTellInTheDark</span></a>. They liked both, but said they "weren't scary at all." This year we're going to hang at a friend's house, and he happens to be a scary movie connessieur! So he asked a bunch of questions to figure out what might work without scarring the kid for life, and they decided on a double header of <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/TheBabadook" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>TheBabadook</span></a> and <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/AQuietPlace" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>AQuietPlace</span></a>. (I hope I make it. I'm a wimp!)</p>
