Coding GardenerAfter the <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/RStats" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RStats</a> training yesterday, I'm noticing an emerging theme with questions people are asking.For example, "Why should I use R when PowerBI will do?"; "What do I tell my manager when they ask how I can use this, when I don't really know anything about it?"It seems as though we need to be wooing the managers *with* their teams by doing cool things with their data, but it's really hard to get access to their data to do anything.
