Jouni OH3CUF<p>Just released my new app, rtl_icecast.</p><p>"A command-line application that uses RTL-SDR to receive FM radio signals and stream them to an Icecast server in MP3 format.</p><p>The main target usage for this app is to stream your local HAM FM repeater audio to your public shoutcast/icecast server with just a RTL-SDR USB-receiver and for example Raspberry Pi. It can be used to stream broadcast FM too, of course."</p><p><a href="https://github.com/j0uni/rtl_icecast" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">github.com/j0uni/rtl_icecast</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/rtlsdr" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rtlsdr</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/icecast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>icecast</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/rtl_sdr" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rtl_sdr</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/rtl" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rtl</span></a>-sdr</p>
Raymond Nordin<p>I&#39;ve been enjoying nrsc5-gui (graphical HD-FM decoder using nsrc5) for most of the day and thinking about a raspsberry pi + rtlsdr based in-dash computer showing me current traffic/weather maps. <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/rtlsdr" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>rtlsdr</span></a></p><p><a href="https://github.com/cmnybo/nrsc5-gui" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">github.com/cmnybo/nrsc5-gui</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
Raymond Nordin<p>bought some male F to female SMA adapters to hook up my antennas to an old manual cable tv switch and it seems to be working well! <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/amateurradio" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>amateurradio</span></a> <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/rtlsdr" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>rtlsdr</span></a></p>
Raymond Nordin<p>Got my l-band active antenna in, upgraded to Linux Mint 21, so I get qt.5.15 so I can installed jaero and qstdcdec for decoding AERO and STD-C protocols. Gonna be a fun week of trying to get some new signals. <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/rtlsdr" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>rtlsdr</span></a></p>
