I took care not to use their ego-maniacal acronym...</p><p><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guardians_of_Divinity" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guardian</span><span class="invisible">s_of_Divinity</span></a></p><p>These guys started off as an <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/antivax" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>antivax</span></a> organization and diversified later on, primarily protesting <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/dragstoryhour" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>dragstoryhour</span></a> events and using <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/antitrans" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>antitrans</span></a> and <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/antilgbt" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>antilgbt</span></a> rhetoric. At one of their protests in Jackson Heights, they showed up with <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/proudboys" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>proudboys</span></a> and <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/neonazis" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>neonazis</span></a>. Naturally, the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/NYPD" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NYPD</span></a> beat up the community defenders and then helped the proud boys and <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/DavidNieves" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>DavidNieves</span></a>, the Guardian&#39;s leader, skip the turnstiles, documented in a viral video. They routinely accuse queer people of being <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/groomers" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>groomers</span></a>, try to doxx people, and have harassed city council members. </p><p>Hopefully, the media starts more accurately reporting these bastards and tying them to their events.</p>
