Yes that&#39;s sad and a <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/shame" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>shame</span></a> but it would only be naive to assume that the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/victim" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>victim</span></a> of this particular <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/crime" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>crime</span></a> against <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/humanity" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>humanity</span></a> was any more or less worthy of our <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/sympathy" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>sympathy</span></a> and support than all the others, on that day, the day before or any other. <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Rape" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Rape</span></a> and sexual <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/abuse" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>abuse</span></a> of <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/children" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>children</span></a> and also by adolescents is one dark and way too normalized part of our underdeveloped societies. If we really want to change that we need to see the whole picture, not the occasional <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/scandal" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>scandal</span></a>. Making this primarily about <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/antisemitism" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>antisemitism</span></a> or even &quot;October 7&quot; is just cheap and disingenuous! It should be about our <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/children" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>children</span></a> and the toxic environment they grow up in as well as our general attitude towards particularly vulnerable persons and groups.</p><p>Since we clearly are not there yet, i.e., I don&#39;t know who else has been victimized like this in the conceivable past, all I can do now is to express my rage against and disgust of the perpetrators and everything that lead them to suspend their humanity in this brutally consequential way (<a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/kids" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>kids</span></a> are not born <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/evil" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>evil</span></a>), feel painful <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/empathy" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>empathy</span></a> with the fate stricken girl (and whoever else got hurt), and maybe be a little bit hopeful that her ordeal will make people think about this sick and heartless world we are actually living in.
