The <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Cerberus" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Cerberus</span></a> heat wave pushed temperatures in Athens between 98 F and 103 F (36.7 C and 39.4 C), while Rome and other major Italian cities experienced scorching conditions.</p><p>&quot;This next wave threatens to push temperatures back up in <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Rome" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Rome</span></a> and <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Sardinia" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Sardinia</span></a>, an island in the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Mediterranean" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Mediterranean</span></a> west of Italian peninsula, with potential highs of 107°F (41.7 C) and 116°F (47 C) respectively.
