Journalist Accuses Israel of Fukushima Sabotage

October 14, 2011

By Richard Walker

"A leading Japanese journalist recently made two incredible claims about the Fukushima power plant that suffered a nuclear meltdown in March 2011, sending shockwaves around the world. First, the former editor of a national newspaper in Japan says the U.S. and Israel knew Fukushima had and that were exposed to the atmosphere after a massive tsunami wave hit the reactor. Second, he contends that Israeli intelligence sabotaged the reactor in retaliation for Japan’s support of an independent state.

"According to Yoichi Shimatsu, a former editor of Japan Times Weekly, these nuclear materials were shipped to the plant in 2007 on the orders of Dick and , with the connivance of Israeli Prime Minister . The shipment was in the form of warhead cores secretly removed from the U.S. nuclear warheads facility BWXT near Amarillo, Texas. While acting as the middleman, Israel transported warheads from the port of Houston, and in the process kept the best ones while giving the Japanese older warhead cores that had to be further enriched at Fukushima.

"Shimatsu credits retired agent and mercenary Roland with learning the warheads were being transported from Houston. In a strange twist, Carnaby was mysteriously shot dead less than a year later by Houston police at a traffic stop. He was shot once in the back and once in the chest. He did not have a weapon in his hands.

"Intelligence sources said he had been tracking a unit that was smuggling U.S. plutonium out of Houston docks for an Israeli nuclear reactor.

"In an even more explosive charge, the journalist says that 20 minutes before the Fukushima plant’s nuclear meltdown, Israel was so upset with Japanese support for a Palestinian declaration of statehood that it double-crossed Japan by unleashing the Stuxnet virus on the plant’s computers. The virus hampered the shutdown, leading to fallout from a section of the plant housing uranium and plutonium retrieved from the warheads supplied in 2007.

"While it is impossible to verify some of Shimatsu’s claims, there was a massive cover-up at the time of the Fukushima disaster in March [TRUE!!!]. Explosions at the site were immediately downplayed. While it was subsequently reported that three reactors suffered meltdowns, Japanese authorities tried to rate the disaster as a Level 4 on the International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale, although outside experts declared it a 7, which is the highest level.

"Something worth noting is how in 2009, two years after Shimatsu says the warheads were secretly moved to Japan, the International Atomic Energy Agency () issued a veiled warning to Japan not to abandon its weapons policy.

"The IAEA had to know, however, that Japan has long retained the potential to build . That was made clear as far back as 1996 when a leaked Ministry of Foreign Affairs document exposed how Japan had been promoting a dual strategy in respect to nuclear weapons since the mid-1960s. It would often publicly profess a non-nuclear policy while maintaining the ability to build a nuclear arsenal. The Liberal Democratic Party, which has dominated Japanese politics, has always said there is no constitutional impediment to nukes.

"A factor that undoubtedly would have encouraged the Bush-Cheney White House to provide Japan with the means to secretly build nukes was the growing power of China. Cheney and Bush sought to arm Japan and India with nuclear weapons as a means of curbing China."

I feel a bit icky. It seems @collectifission had been trolling my timeline before they attacked me. trolls often use that tactic to intimidate activists. I had one who found me on the bird site, then harrassed my personal FB account, mocking the fact that my dog had died (one day I'll tell you all the story of EcoPup / EcoWife trolls, which I traced back to someone who worked for -- a pro-nuclear industry group. I learned a few things from my hacker buddies). But yeah, blocked the whole domain - @greennuclear.online . Not going to bother my admin about this, since they are busy with keeping Kolektiva running. But if they start popping up under other domains, doing the same shit, I will let the admins know.

[Film] : Our actions will never stop

Chile, 2023, Director: Francisca Silva Bravo, Co-Director and Writer: Carole Risler, Producer: Alessandra Cristina, documentary, 1 hour 11 minutes, English, French, Spanish

"It is the 70th anniversary of the first nuclear test in territory and the communities call on activists from all over the world to carry out a 200 km walk through the desert. Among them, the directors of this documentary join to record this walk, which seeks to end the extraction of , the mineral with which atomic bombs are produced. What attitude will we take as humanity in the face of the possibility of creation and destruction?

"Francisca Silva Bravo is an independent documentary maker from Chile. "Walkatjurra: Our actions will never stop", is a 2023 documentary co-directed by the French filmmaker Carole Risler. This was shot in some Australian aboriginal territories, where uranium is mined. Walkatjurra is an invitation from the directors to meditate on a more non-violent culture to protect life and its evolution."

Inventor, artist, philosopher, -- along with his wife -- were also activists. They came up with a device that could generate energy, and of course the confiscated it -- and that was the end of that!

Russell Optic Dynamo-Generator

"This new power and light generator employs a multiplication principle of nature which has not yet entered within the realm of human consciousness... It is the principle of growth in nature which multiplies one kernel of corn into thousands... or multiplies the cold of space into hot stars and novas of incredibly high temperature... Power multiplication is the most conspicuous characteristic of nature. It is amazing to me that it has never yet been discovered."
(Walter Russell’s memo from 1961)

via Philosophy.org

"In the fall of 1959, General Chapman, Colonel Fry, Major Sargent, Major Cripe, and others from NORAD in Colorado Springs, attended a meeting at Swannanoa, Virginia (University of Science and Philosophy) at the invitation of . At this meeting Russell explained the workings of a device he proposed to build to take advantage of the vacuum state energy, and the two directional movement of energy from gravitation, (generation), to radiation, (degeneration). During the following year Russell, his wife, , and their assistants built the device. The prototype that was built consisted of two sets of dual and magnetically-sexed coils. On September 10, 1961, Walter and Lao Russell reported to their contacts at NORAD, that the coils had worked and that the President of the United States could announce to the world that a 'greater, safer power than ' could be provided for industry and transportation. After giving the device over to the U.S. Government, Dr. Russell refolded a year and a half later on May 19, 1963. The was never released to the public."

Parked under these quite majestic windmills when passing through The Netherlands a few weeks ago. There’s something quite beautiful about semi-wild landscapes. I love windmills, I’ve written before that they sing of sci-fi utopias.
Are they perfect? No.
Do they still extract resources from the Earth? Yes.
Do I prefer them to a filthy, polluting oil refinery or a nuclear power station whose toxic waste will remain active on earth for ten-thousand years? Absolutely.
I know a lot of travellers seek out supposed epic, pristine landscapes, & of course those wild spaces are beautiful, but for me there’s also something quite magnificent in landscapes telling a different story at the intersection of humanity, technology & nature.

I just came across this article when replying to another person's Toot. Thought it might be of interest... And yes, I did visit Kakadu -- partly as a tourist, and partly to interview Australian Aborigine activists who were protesting the expansion of a mine.

Sickness Country

"Not far from Kakadu are deposits of uranium. Aboriginals have known to avoid this area for centuries—it is known as 'sickness country'. The artwork shown here depicts a person with swollen joints—the first signs of radiation poisoning."
