in your proxy war afar,
against the USSR,
that paved the way for Jihadism to grow,
and kamikaze straight into the WTC -oh!
boom! clanged the oriental gong,
and the Pentagon,
trumpeted its own song,
war on terror! war on terror!
terror! terror! error!
that thing which isn't a tactic,
but a nation, a country, civilians,
thank you for ending terror with your ‘war on terror'
now we can all sleep safe and sound,
in a panoptic shadow unbound,
oh! the tranquility,
in the padded freedom cell's security,
doped and divided,
who cares about the neighbor's yell?
here we're protected,
from paradise,
turned to hell,
