Okay so to reassure you I went and looked in the actuarial tables. The probability of a university-educated White American man dying at age 40 is 0.003780

If you're not a numbers guy then that's zero point three seven eight percent. You have a less than 0.4% chance of dying at exactly that age.

Of course, like the odds of being killed by your own dustbin, it's never zero. But it's unlikely. Take courage.
