[followup] / Israeli forces revenge raid Jinba village in Masafer Yatta terrorizing residents and causing widespread damage

According to , approximately 140 Israeli soldiers and civilians (some are settlers from the nearby settlements) conducted a pre-dawn raid on Jinba village in Masafer Yatta (featured in the Oscar-winning documentary "No Other Land"). Residents report that between 2:00-6:30 AM Saturday, forces entered all homes, damaged appliances, destroyed food supplies, and intimidated residents during Ramadan.

Village committee head Nidal Younis stated soldiers forced families including women and children into corners while destroying property. He quoted one soldier saying: "Yesterday you thought you were strong, now we'll show you that we are stronger."

This raid followed a previous day's incident where settlers allegedly attacked six Palestinians in the village, after which 22 residents were detained.

Attorney Netta Amar, representing villagers, has demanded an investigation, calling the incident a "pogrom and hate crime" that indicates "the disintegration of any ethical code and rule of law."

The occupation force spokesperson confirmed conducting an operation to search for weapons but provided no details about findings.

[…] In a letter sent this morning by attorney Netta Amar, who represents the residents, to the army and police, she wrote that "The military militia broke all the houses, cameras, school, clinic, and mosque, and killed and drove away the sheep." She added that "This is a widespread pogrom and hate crime, following the hate crimes and pogrom conducted yesterday, which demonstrates the breakdown of any ethical code and rule of law by the army and settler militias that have taken control of it."
