i’ve had people online (read: Autism Moms) try to say that i can’t have selective mutism because i can like, type full sentences on a computer

but like for real, can we kill the idea that Autistic people online

1. must be “high-functioning” in order to use a phone/computer (whatever the fuck that means)

2. must be fully verbal because apparently the ability to type and speak are identical

My friend Frankie has been experiencing concerning medical issues, primarily with their breathing. They went to a doctor and were told nothing was wrong, despite chest pain, shortness of breath, and hyperventilation.

Their venmo has been temporarily suspended in the middle of all this.

Being turned away at a doctor is just another day as a Black trans person. They’re requesting funds so they can buy food.

can someone explain if kolektiva admins can do anything further? my understanding of defederation is that instances can be wiped from timelines so they have no interaction with ours. is that something that can happen with John’s 4qq instance?

this isn’t the first or the worst time he’s laid into folks on kolektiva.

i’m sure John will make some kind of claims about how i don’t actually care since i blocked him, even though he’s been begging me to block him for a month or so now

y’all continue to let me know if i interact with someone who’s legitimately no good, i gave him grace because of his brain injury but i never looked into his instance

my process is to literally just scroll through the fed timeline and caption anything that doesn’t have one already. i don’t pay attention to instances!
