@calendsofapril @emlove 40's were magical - I toured around the world, found the love of my life, became a dad, moved to #Montreal, witnessed many cop cars on fire - truly an incredible decade. Three cheers for getting old!

My 20s and 30s were mired by dv and chronic illness.
In my 40s, I've been well enough to organize in many ways I've always wanted to. I have friends and comrades who are very dear to me. Whom I trust.
I want more and more from life, when for a while I didn't think I would ever live this long. I am hopeful for my 50s, there are so many things I have yet to experience.
I have, for example, never witnessed a cop car on fire.
