's mayor, Marvin Rees, is proposing to cut the council tax benefit, a vital lifeline for over 23,000 low income families in our city. We're not having it!

Cutting this benefit will mean that many families in our city will find it even harder to put food on the table for themselves and their kids each night.

We're holding a Rally to Defend the Council Tax Benefit on College Green this coming Tuesday to show the mayor we're united in opposing cuts to crucial benefits. We'll meet Tuesday 12th of September at 5pm on College Green - look out for the red ACORN flags.
