Let’s rewind and do a quick #intro
We’re the Miami local of Black Rose/Rosa Negra Anarchist Federation. We’ve been an org in the Miami area for about 6 years and support independent and anti-capitalist projects in the area. We’re involved in a lot of projects ourselves, like political education (even the memes), but much of our work is quiet sectoral organizing like workplace (teachers), tenant organizing, and involvement in mutual aid.
Happy to be here among comrades

@ombres @mel @whatanerd really the main thing is that actual organizing efforts should be at the base of anarchist ideas and propaganda because there isn’t any strong understanding of anarchism no matter how theoretically sound that can really flourish without the social aspect - we’re a political organization but that can mean other types of groupings.

Liberalism and the left
Liberalism is a political style of any group who works within the State. Socialists who believe that we can take a capitalist and imperialist US gov’t and use it to get to some kind of socialist society are liberal in praxis even if they steal some radical slogans.
Critique of the State on COVID
Next time someone tells you how necessary government is, remind them about the horrible distribution of the vaccine (or really all of US policy around the COVID response).
Federated networks of worker-run healthcare facilities could have done all of this more efficiently and equitably.
