Capitalism isn’t our only problem. Eliminate capitalism and we still have racism, colonialism, ecocide, classism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and all other forms of bigotry. The common thread between all of these is hierarchy. Hierarchy is our real problem and it must be abolished.

@anarchist_environmentalist absolutely true. We need a complete social revolution too

@werwolf @anarchist_environmentalist

there is no such thing as social revolution, only economic.

the nurses who kindly ask my pronouns will reject my treatment if the computer says i can’t pay.

@anarchist_environmentalist agree. It seems like that's where the revolution really starts; within oneself. Examining all the ways one exerts domination and control in their life--the will-to-power over other people and organisms of all kinds. I start with the simple question of how I regard and interact with plants, but there are many jumping off points.

@gorgeoustaps @anarchist_environmentalist

this practice is working brilliantly for the animals we call livestock.

utter bliss.

hi there, dissenter here.

evil hierarchy will always exist wherever the tools of violence and coercion exist. capitalism refines social friction into those named issues by virtue of its seeking its self-defined progress. the primary issue IS capitalism. sure, other interpersonal and intercommunal problems will exist, there will be prejudice. but the role of capitalism is to legitimize those fears into economic actions.

we absolutely must focus on capitalism.
