There’s a university right now (not in Oregon) trying to get the students to take down the encampment after escalation (spray paint on some buildings, lol), and on top of a bunch of BS and empty promises that legit mean nothing, a certain group of people are celebrating and calling it a win because the uni promised 15 Gazan exchange students full rides at some point in the future. Like?? No one in Palestine is asking for a full ride right now. They’re asking to not be brutally ethnically cleansed and murdered, they’re asking for their right to stay on their land that they are native to. There very well may no longer be any Gazans, they’re already erasing Palestine from the map, what the fuck are you talking about? How are Gazans IN Palestine going to be a valid identity feature in 15 years… this is a fucking genocide. Please be so for real. Don’t give up your collective power for breadcrumbs.
