One of the recurring themes in the documentary "Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution" was all the state prejudice that existed prior to ADA (the Americans with Disabilities Act), like ableist architecture that prevented access to public transit, restaurants, theaters, etc.
Yet, even with ADA, we now live in a world without any Covid mitigation, once again making it so many people with disabilities can no longer safely access those same public spaces.
