@prolrage @EndIsraeliApartheid Linking arms is not a good tactic against this. Shields, fireworks, and thrown projectiles is what works.
During the 2020 Uprising the cops generally avoided fighting shield wall to shield wall.
Problem is the need to know in advance the cops will attack, or else having to militarize every protest for defense.
