I first read this in my 20’s and it profoundly changed the way I looked at the world.
Ever since, I’ve been yelling as loud as I can, to anyone who will listen, about the ignorance of economists modeling infinite growth on the back of a finite bounded system.
Good god … can we please, collectively, plant our feet in the earth and fight the stupidity and greed driving the conventional wisdom?
It has been announced the Alaska Snow Crab (Opelio Crab) fishery will be shut down for the 2nd season in a row.
Estimated 10 billion crab starved due to rising ocean temps between 2018 - 2021.
Hey #Nordhaus … maybe we should just move the fishery inside? Asshole
