Gardening tip:

Leave out bowls or plates of water near your gardens at night. A lot of the animals that come by and take a single bite out of a vegetable before moving on are doing so for the water in the plant, not the tasty fruiting body. Leaving water out has ended all incursions by rabbits and I didn't have to use any form of repellent.

I hadn't seen this carnivorous plant in Germany yet and I'm not sure it will survive, but this is a Darlingtonia Californica also known as the Cobra Lily. It's in a temporary spot while I acclimate it to light before moving it to stronger lighting or possibly on the balcony. It needs distilled (or rain) water and the roots need to stay cool. #florespondence @plants

Food 

I'm using a stand mixer, so I add flour until the mixture sticks to the bread hook and cleans off the sides of the bowl. I use about a half a cup to a cup of yeasty kefir water (depending on how much I have) and a small handful of salt.

Keifer bread.
- Yeast from water keifer left overnight with brown sugar.
- Flour
- Salt

Mix adding flour until you can kneed without much sticking to fingers, kneed, put in oiled frying pan, oil and salt the top, leave over night to rise. Bake at 400 for 35 minutes.

I may have been reading the wrong bread book.
