New birds discovered today : Splendid and Superb Fairy-wren (and fairy-wren in general) in so-called Australia.
Because of course, the colorful birbs are in Australia. 😭

And here's the Bearded Vulture.

And here's the Dracula Parrot, also known as the Pesquet's Parrot.

Their body overall is covered with silky greyish and black feathers stretching out to the chest, back and tail, but their belly is covered with bright red along with some red feathers in the upper tail coverts and wing-panels.
This combination of red and black is what led to the bird getting the monicker of Dracula Parrot.

Also, this borb is frugivore. 🤭

Here is the New Zealand Takahe. Look at the chonk borb. 😭
